Accessibility
Accessibility at Basata
At Basata, every guest receives a personal welcome and introduction to our facilities and daily routines. Guests who need additional support or a quieter environment can request an individual, unhurried check-in.
Please contact us before your arrival to discuss any specific accessibility needs. As Basata is a nature-based ecolodge with sandy paths and simple accommodation, some areas may not be suitable for guests with limited mobility. Service animals are welcome.
Cognitive &
Sensory Accessibility
At Basata, we recognise that everyone experiences and interacts with their surroundings differently.
Our personal welcome allows guests to become familiar with the ecolodge, its facilities, and daily routines at their own pace. For guests who may benefit from a calmer environment, clearer guidance, or additional time, we are happy to arrange a quieter, unhurried stay & check-in.
We encourage guests, families, and caregivers to contact us before arrival to discuss any individual needs or preferences. Together, we can explore simple arrangements that may help make their stay more comfortable and enjoyable.
Physical Disability
Basata is a nature based ecolodge with sandy pathways, and natural terrains. These features may present challenges for some guests with
limited mobility.
We are currently working on improving physical accessibility across the ecolodge, including reviewing our facilities and making adjustments to better accommodate guests with different
mobility needs.
In the meantime, we encourage guests to contact us before booking so we can provide accurate information about our existing facilities and help them assess wether Basata is suitable for their individual needs.
